From Mrs. Phillips,
My husband discovered a benefit we have through Blue Cross Blue Shield...and I think everyone should know about it.
There is a fitness program you can join for $29 a month (after a one-time $29 enrollment fee) that allows you to visit any 24-Hour Fitness, Bally's, and Gold's Gym (plus some local community centers). After joining it, you have unlimited access to any of the locations and any of the gyms. Plus, some of them offer free child care (you have to check with the individual gym - the 24 Hour Fitness near us is free!).
To sign up, you have to log in (or enroll using your policy #) to the following website:
http://www.bcbstx.com/member/index.html
Then click on Fitness Program on the right-hand size under Quick Links. From there, you can sign up. As soon as you sign up, you get a temporary pass and can visit the participating gyms. (You can also get a list of those from this website.)
I thought this was too good a deal not to share with everyone.
Enjoy!
